MTS exam is conducted by the SSC for selecting candidates in General Central Service Group-C non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts in various departments and offices of the Govt of India. on Pay Level-1 as per Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission with basic pay of Rs. 5,200- 20,200+ Grade Pay Rs. 1,800.
Age Limit: Minimum Age Limit is: 18.
Maximum Age limit is: 27.
Age Relaxation: OBC: 3 Years, SC/ST: 5 Years Educational Qualification, PwD: 10
Educational Qualification Years A candidate is required to pass Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent Exam from a recognized State Board or Institute.
Pattern For Tier 1: (Objective, 270 Marks, 90 Min)
SSC conducts the SSC Multi Tasking Staff Exam (MTS) exam every year in different stages:
1) Paper 1 (Objective test)
2) Physical Efficiency Test & Physical Standard Test (only for Havaldar)
Negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Session 2 and no negative marking in Session-1
