The Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC CGL exam to recruit candidates into various organizations, departments, offices under the Government of India. It is a national level exam and recruitment to Group B and Group C posts in government departments is done through this exam.
Age Limit – The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 32 years.
Age Relaxation: OBC: 3 Years, SC/ST: 5 Years, PwD: 10 Years.

Compiler Posts | Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with either Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics as a compulsory or elective subject. Meeting this requirement is essential for eligibility for the roles that necessitate a background in Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics. |
All Other Posts | Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification to be eligible for SSC CGL |

There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I and 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-II and Paper-III.
